Read Aloud Misinterprets Some Text

When using Read Aloud in Word or Outlook, some abbreviations are interpreted incorrectly.  For example, "RES" (intended to refer to someone by her initials) is read as "residential."  Is there any way to configure Read Aloud to just read the initials, rather than interpreting them as something that may not be right?  It does this in some cases, for example saying "TTS" when it encounters that in the help for text-to-speech, but in other cases it seems to take a wild guess as to the meaning of the abbreviation.

Thanks.

    Hi Dave Nickason,

I go through the post. I would suggest you replace RES with R.E.S so Read Aloud can read it correctly. It could be not feasible to set up it in Word directly.

    Hope these can help you.

    Regards,

    Clark
