Excel SUM function not adding correctly

I was editing a spreadsheet and I have noticed that the sum function rounds down every 0,5 number I enter, even tho I'm sure I'm using the sum function without the rounddown one.

Dunno what's causing this. Help xb

Ps.: pls don't tell me it's the comma

    Can you right click on your column G, format cells and against Numbers, can you increase decimal places to 2?

    Hi there Vijay,

    I did what you've asked and the decimal part of the number was still 00.

    On an attempt to solve the problem I've restarted the app, changed the comma to a point, and yes, unfortunately it was the comma haha

    I'm sorry for the time you spent looking at my problem.

    By the way, can I, like, change the identifier of decimal parts to a comma instead of a point or am I stuck with this setting? Because it is the first time this problem has ever occurred to me and yeah, i find it really odd that excel can't recognize a comma the same way it does a point.

    Windows Key+R > Type intl.cpl and Enter > Additional Settings > Here, you can change decimal symbol (do it for both Numbers as well as Currency).

    I figured the comma was the issue in this case. I did find out the actual location to change the character to use as your decimal, so that you can use a comma instead of a period.

    File > Options > Advanced > The option will be under the "Editing options" sub-heading in that window. It should be the second to last checkbox. It will say "Use system separators"; uncheck that box. Then type in the two text boxes what you would like to use instead.

    That is the only option I was able to find, and I imagine if you use the comma as a decimal in this file, you might also be using it in other spreadsheets as well.
