Visio - Importing Data - Adding it as text

Hi.

I have been using Visio for our seating chart in the office. it essentially has the layout of the office and then a whole bunch of text boxes filled with the name of the person sitting there.

I need to be able to import the text box data from an excel sheet.

However, it seems like the default is text labels, rather then text data. Therefore, the text options are not "plain text", and I have no way to fit the content to the box..

Any help on this?
