Please see the page that John Korchok suggested.  Also, keep in mind that the dpi of the image has nothing to do with resolution in exported images.

Many programs will report 96 dpi (Windows) or 72 dpi (Mac) when the image itself HAS no dpi value set.

It's more important to know how many pixels (dots) high and wide your exported image is.

There's more than one way to save a slide. Here is Microsoft's page about how to export at high resolution, Step 2 covers how to export: How to change the export resolution of a PowerPoint slide

    Hi Tina,

Thank you for your quick response. I'd like to export a slide as a high quality png/jpg file. I do this by File->Save as.

The Quality>Default resolution was already "High fidelity". I am updating office now and I'll try it later.

    Hi Chengkunli1,

My understanding is that you want to export PowerPoint presentation with high quality image.

If not, feel free to correct me.

    I suggest you check following:

In PowerPoint, go to File>Options>Advanced>Image Size and Quality>Default resolution, choose "High fidelity" and click OK.

Besides, seems your Office channel is Semi-Annual Channel. The latest version of this channel is 1902(build 11328.20468). You may update Office via File>Account>Update Options>Update Now.

If issue persists, I'd like to confirm information below to help you do further troubleshooting:

1.Does this issue happen to images in a specific presentation or all presentations?

2.How do you export the presentation? By File>Export?

3.Please capture a full screenshot of Product Information via File>Account.

Many thanks for your patience and effort.

    Best regards,

    Tina
