Is there a way to highlight the cell if the results of an equation results in value not equal to a whole number?

If it is what you want?

    =AND(A1<>"",A1<>INT(A1))

    Hi Stephen

Sure, you can do that, the simplest conditional formatting formula is this:

    =MOD(A1,1)>0

(you may need to adjust the A1 cell reference)

Thank you for the suggestions.  I used both of your formulas.  One to indicate an acceptable value and the other to indicate an unacceptable value

    Thank you,

    Stephen
