Excel cells distorted when scroll up and down

Hi, how are  you?

I'be been having this issue for a while now with Excel. I would have the cells get distorted when i use the scroll on the mouse to move and down on a sheet. The cells would get stacked on top of each other and when I click on a cell I can't tell if i'm on the correct cell. The fix at the moment is for me to click on a new sheet (tab at the bottom) and click back and the cells appear normal again. But if i scroll up and down again the problem returns.

    Hi Phong,

    Thank you for posting your question in our community. I have tested the steps according to your description, but I cannot reproduce the same behavior on my side. As this doesn't happen on the latest version of Excel on my side, I'd suggest that you may try updating to the latest version of the Excel application and see if it could fix it. To update it, you may refer to the following steps:

    1. Open any Excel workbook > go to File > Account;
    2. Click the Update Options button > click Update Now.

    If this behavior still exists after you updated to the latest version of the Excel application, you may try the following steps to open Excel in the Safe Mode to see if it's caused by some add-ins:

    1. Close all Excel windows;
    2. Press Windows + R > enter excel /safe.

    If my above suggestions couldn't help, I'd appreciate it if you could provide us with the following information so that we may further assist you:

    1. Please try creating a new blank workbook and see if the behavior would appear on this new workbook;
    2. If this behavior would appear on a blank new workbook, please take a screen record of your process so that we may better understand the issue. You may share the video file with us via OneDrive for Business
    3. Please go to File > Account and capture a screenshot of the version information of your Excel application so that we could test it for you from our side.

    Best Regards,

    Nathan
