    Hi apoorvkhanna,

If you received different version of documents form different editor, you can Compare and merge two versions of a document by following steps:

1.Open one of the two versions of the document that you want to merge.

2.On the Tools menu, click Combine Documents.

3.In the Original document list, select one version of the document.

4.In the Revised document list, browse to the other version of the document, and then click OK.

You are welcome to post your feedback.

    Regards,

    Eric

    Hi apoorvkhanna,

There is a feature named Document collaboration and co-authoring, if you upload your document to OneDrive or SharePoint Online and share the link with your colleague, they can make comments or changes directly in the original document and you don't need to merge anything.

Please following the steps in Combine documents to merge two documents.

If you are not sharing your documents with others, you can combine documents by copying and pasting.

    Regards,

    Eric
