Windows 365 VPN issue

Dear all,

Yesterday I started my first Windows 365 Cloud PC and it is really cool. Right now, there is only one problem: I installed the OpenVPN client (community version), because I wanted to establish a VPN connection to connect via RDP to our servers. That would be useful for external staff e.g. But the VPN connection cannot be established. I tried it on other platforms like for example my local WIN10 and iPad and it just works fine. But not on Windows 365. Is there anything I have to set up? Maybe firewall rules?

Thanks and KR.

Yup, same issue here. I can install a local vpn client and watch the outgoing connection packets, but nothing comes back. MS must be blocking it. There is no information I can find related to whether this is possible. Could someone from Microsoft verify if this is something we will be able to do as it has a big impact on our usage of Windows 365 Cloud PC?

Same problem I thought it might be the Configure a L2TP/IPsec server behind a NAT registry change (AssumeUDPEncapsulationContextOnSendRule) but unfortunately that did not work

I also still face the same problem. There was no one from Microsoft Support and Microsoft forums who could help until now. For us, that is a showstopper right now regarding the topic to use Windows 365 for external staff instead of hardware laptops.
