SfB On-Premise migration to Teams, Response Group Options

Hi

We're about to undertake a migration from SfB OnPremise to Teams. We're currently using Teams in Islands mode, and all Telephony is currently via SfB. The telephony migration will be phased over a period of around 9 months, so there will be a significant amount of time where we will have some users in SfB and others in Teams. I have been tasked with investigating and documenting the options regards the coexistence of SfB Response Groups and Teams Call Queue's \ Auto Attendants.

I've been able to find very little information so far regards how this will work once we start moving users in to Teams. Can anyone advise what options are possible - is there some way that Teams can forward calls to a call queue on to a SfB user or vice versa, or if there are any resources available that explain this. I would be grateful.

    Hi Dale,

    In Islands mode, PSTN services and voice applications are handled by Skype for Business. So, response groups can also be used by users in Teams.
