I use Office. I sign into Office with my outlook information. About every two months, I get some warning when I open any of my files. I had to sign in today. I guess there are some issue with my account. But I got this "Something went wrong" error code. 0x800706d9. What might the issue be?

    Hi Freddiede

Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

    1. Can you start any Office application say Word > File > Account > Sign out

    Now restart your computer

Right click on any Office application icon say Word > Run as administrator > File > Account > Sign-in

    Restart your computer again.

    1. If above doesn't work - Try repairing your Office installation. First try Quick Repair (takes 5 - 10 mins) , if that doesn't help then try Online Repair (Takes more than 30 mins but less than 1 hour in general)

    How to repair instructions -

Please report me back the results so that I can advise further steps if your problem is not solved.
