Planner does not show comments

The following actions/behaviour:

1. Open Planner from Office 365 app launcher

2. from Planner Hub*, click the name of the plan.*

3. Click any existing task,

4. type in the Comment box and hit Send*,*

5. the comment just disappeared.

6. Either closing the task (by clicking the cross icon on the top right corner of the task window), once re-open the task, all the comments added are gone/not showing at the bottom or elsewhere.

I created that plan from scratch including a new group:

  1. I just noticed here - not using this system in this site until the day
  2. I can't check it as I deleted the plan
  3. No, was happening for only that plan, but for all the tasks in that plan!

You can close the thread now as by using another plan (in an existing group) it's working. Maybe it was something related to the group itself?

    Hi Eduard,

    Thank you for your reply. I think the problem might be caused from the server side as well since the other plans in the existing groups has no issue. There might be some unknown errors when you created the new groups or the plan. Thanks for sharing the detail information above.

    Hi Eduard,

    From your issue description, your comments in the existing tasks will disappear without any notification. I followed the action you mentioned above to try reproducing the issue. I clicked an existing task and add a comment. It seems that the issue doesn’t appear from my side.

    To narrow down this issue may I know the following information.

    1: When is this issue happened from your side?

    2: Does this issue affect all the users in your organization or the specific user only? You can check with your colleagues and see whether they can comment on the tasks.

    3: Have you tried creating a new task in the plan or creating a new plan with new tasks? Does the same problem occur when you comment the task?

    In addition, did you try the suggestion in the above thread to switch to a different browsers or InPrivate window.
