Copy Link Function in SharePoint list

The Copy Link function in a SharePoint list has suddenly stopped working.  This has happened to all users in our tenant.  When opening a list that has multiple items already added, clicking a new item and then clicking on the "Copy Link" function, our users are now getting a diamond shape appear under the link.  This function worked thru Friday of last week and then just stopped.  The first error was noticed on a Communication Site Design - new experience.  All lists are established and have existing items within the lists.  This also happens when we create a new list.  This is also occurring in all browsers, Internet Explorer, Edge, Chrome and FireFox.

What has caused this function to stop working?

    Hi Beth,

Thanks for your feedback in this community.

I just finish the test on my side, seems like I could also reproduce this issue in my 2 test tenants. I checked the browser's inspector, when clicking on the Copy Link button, it will return the following error message:

Thus, I think this issue should be blame on our back end.

I've also checked the current Service Incident in the Office 365 Admin Center, but there is no related issue listed. To report this issue to the related team, please inform your Office 365 Administrator to create a support ticket on this issue. The support team there has the correct escalation channel for this kind of issue.

Your time and understanding is highly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Alex Chen
