Hi,

I have an issue in Excel 2016, when I try to select the axis type date option for the horizontal axis (dates) it is missing. The funny thing is if I select the vertical axis (text) the option is there. Can someone help? Btw I have tried with all graphs.

Thanks in advance!

    Dear Vijay,

Basically what I need is to have on the horizontal axis the dates divided by quarters not like the automatic arrangement done by excel.

    Example:

    01-01-2019 (Q1), 01-04-2019 (Q2), 01-07-2019(Q3), 01-10-2019(Q4)

    Regards,

    Hi Vijay,

So there is nothing I can do? I want to edit the axis with the dates for example to have it divided by months.

    Thanks!

    Hi darksantacruz

Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

The behavior is allright. The right click options for x axis and y axis are always different. This is not about your data or chart.
