We cannot get the Power BI add-in for Excel enabled due to an error within Excel

Microsoft 365 and Office | Excel | For home | Windows

    This looks like missing or corrupted components which repair (or complete reinstall) should fix.

    Alright. I will and infoorm you of the outcome.

    But can you kindly help me understand what the error message means and how is it preventing the add-in from enabling.

    I am V. Arya, Independent Advisor, to work with you on this issue.

    Try repair first.

    Press Windows key, hold it and press r to open Run window.

    Type appwiz.cpl and press enter

    This will open Uninstall or change a program window

    Click Office in the list of program

    Click Change at top

    Select Online repair

    Restart your computer once Online repair is finished.

    Let me know the outcome.
