how do i transfer my excel software to a new computer?

    Depends on your unknown version of Office/Excel and whether its a full retail version.

    In general terms you use the original Office/Excel media to install on the new using the Office key, and uninstall on the old

    I downloaded the program so I don't have the original media to uninstall and reinstall.

    Excel 2013 is my version.
