    Hello Anamika,

Many thanks for your information. I am monitoring this thread by now. Based on the error message, I can see that your problem may be due to the unsuccessful connection between Gmail and Office 365. The error shows that “Contacts API has not been used in project 1048995598394 before or it is disabled”, please kindly enable it via console.developers.google.com (as it includes in the error message you provided).

If the problem persists, I recommend you try IMAP migration to check the result. If you have any problem with creating the IMAP endpoint, you can use the following cmdlets to check the connectivity and feel free to share the result with us via Private Message.

    Test-MigrationServerAvailability -Imap -RemoteServer <Your IMAP server> -Port 993

    Test-MigrationServerAvailability -Imap -RemoteServer <Your IMAP server> -Port 143

    For your reference: Test-MigrationServerAvailability.

    Best Regards,

    Sylvie

    Hi Anamika,

Thanks for the detailed information. To protect your privacy, I have removed the error message you post here.

Based on my knowledge, before Office 365 can connect to G Suites, all the account owners need to create an app password to access their account. This is because Google considers Outlook to be a less secure app and will not allow a connection to it with a password alone. For more information about this, please kindly refer to:

Prepare your Gmail or G Suite account for connecting to Outlook and Office 365.

Meanwhile, you also need to make sure your G Suite users can turn on 2-step verification.

Then please follow the steps in this article to migrate from G Suite mailboxes to Office 365.

If your issue persists, please offer me the screenshots of your operation process (at which step you encounter this error) for further analysis, so that we can test and check on our sides.

    Thanks for your cooperation.

    Best Regards,

    Betty
