One Drive Space error

I had to factory reset my windows 10 due to blue screen issues on an windows update.

I have reinstalled offfice and one drive and signed in, but when I try to finish setting up, it is not let me sync files, showing negative space. I have only 76.77gb used with a 1tb limit, but it is showing as -13.4gb.

The question on how to fix this seems to have been asked on numerous occasions, but I can't see and answer and the search functionality on this site is so basic, there are no easy filters or sort by date options to see if there is an answer to this.

Any help would be appreciated

    Hi PhilipHighfield

Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. Can you login to Online Onedrive and let me know how much space is allocated to you there?

    https://onedrive.live.com/

If everything is allright from space perspective, try to reset your Onedrive.

Windows Key+R > Copy the below and paste and Enter

    %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset

After few minutes start Onedrive again. if this doesn't appear, copy the below and paste into Run and Enter

    %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe

The whole computer would blue screen and close down 20 second after logging on. This started straight after the update, so it can only have been that. How elese could I fix other than factory reset?

I have now followed what you have said since, but no luck. The whole ,system seems a joke now. Nothing is really working, one drive says I don't have enough memory (tried everything and no change). I have tried to download teamviewer (so I can get someone to remotely log on and check) and that isn't even working (I can view their machine, but they can never connect to me (I have uninstalled, reinstalled, tried everything), Now office is saying I need to renew, so it thinks I am on a trial when I already have a full subscription and according to the microsoft site my pc is linked to it.

Whatever that upgrade did has effectively destroyed my pc from working and I am now having to go and send time and money trying to get everything fixed. I have wasted about 40 hours trying to fix things since this upgrade killed everything.

I am now at my wits' end and may as well throw away my £1k investment in this pc and start again, so frustrating and has put me off ever installing a windows update again.

    Hi

I did enter screenshots, but they are not showing on the reply.

I still have the same -15.6gb warning and the 2 one drives,

the first has the one drive icon, the second says onedrive, but is a folder with a cloud in the bottom corner.

    Thanks

    Hi Vijay

Unfortunately that hasn't fixed it. Onedrvie live confirmed 1tb and this shows on the drvie as well

but after resetting I am still getting the below when finishing set up

I have noticed in the start menu I am getting 2 onedrive icons

I am not sure why there are now 2 drives, could this be the reason and if so how do I fix?

    Thanks

You should have run a Win repair and not a re-set.

How do you know whether the BSOD was as a result of a hardware error, rather than a problem with a win update?

In the first instance run the system file checker, sfc, if all ok then run winupdate and ensure thare are no failed updates, before then runing an inplace office repair
