Issues with Word Present Online function

Hi everyone

I'm currently attempting to undertake some training for work, however the activity I'm now on requires me to share a document using the Present Online feature and whenever I try it I just receive this error message

All other network functions seem to be working ok so I'm at a loss as to how to fix this... any ideas?

Thanks!

Thanks for that... I've looked but I don't have the option to allow connection to the internet

On the privacy options page I have Doccument-specific settings and Research &  Reference plus a click box for Privacy Settings - if I go into that the only option I have is "enable optional connected experiences" which is currently selected.

    Still at a complete loss

Argh!  Looks like the screenshot of the error message doesn't show up for some reason... this is the error message:

"Error starting online presentation.  Cannot connect to this service.  Check your network connection and try again”

    Hello,

I am an independent advisor, and I am trying to help other users in Community with my experience in Microsoft products.

In Word, go to File>Options>Trust Center>Trust Center Settings>Privacy Options and check the box for "Allow Office to connect to the Internet".

    Hope this helps.

Do let me know if you require any further help on this. Will be glad to help you.

    Thank you
