Good Eveving,

we have noted on one of our customers o365 network that the above account has accessed one of the business mailbox.

i have read that this is a back end system, but can not find confirmation anywhere of what this system service does or why.

Could anyone from microsoft please provide some clarity?

many Thanks

Hello IT-SPT-UK,

Thanks for posting your concerns in the forum. According to my experience, Devilfish is one of the service principals from Azure Active Directory. There are many such principals at the backend. If you run cmdlet Get-MsolServicePrincipal, you can find it like the screenshot below. Don’t worry about it. I have searched online, but haven't found any related documents. If you want to know more about it, I can help you contact the relevant team.

Hope the information above helps!

Regards,

Rick
