Calculation error Summary Task - MS Project 2013

I'm with a problem in the calculation of summary task.

I created a schedule that uses the column "% completed", if all my tasks are 100% completed the summary tasks shows 99%. If I change to other number (0% to 99%) the calculation is correct, but not if is all 100%.

I tried to adjust it but I couldn't find the origin of the problem. I hope that you understand it and show me how to fix.

IsaCiccone,

Based on your last screen shot I see no reason why the summary tasks are not showing percent complete properly. It could be one of two things.

First, is your version of Project 2013 fully updated? It should be version 15.0.1501.1000 (see https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Project-Support-Blog/Project-2013-Cumulative-Updates-2016-to-Date/ba-p/387508).

Or it could be some corruption in your file. For the latter, I suggest you try saving to XML. Then re-open the XML file in Project. Note, you will lose any custom formatting with this process.

You could also try Trevor's approach although if the file is corrupt, it likely won't fix the underlying issue.

Hope this helps.

John

    John,

Has this space because I merged the screenshots that I had taken. The picture below shows Loja 1 and Loja 2 complete.

With ID, Outline number, % complete, Task Name, Duration, Action duration, Actual start, Actual finish, Start, Finish and Predecessor.

    IsaCiccone,

I see the issue on the first summary line. I also see some type of space between the first "Entrega" and "Loja 2". What is that?

Please post a new screen shot showing these fields for all of Loja 1 and Loja 2.

    ID

    Outline Number

    Percent Complete

    Task Name

    Duration

    Actual Duration

    Actual Start

    Actual Finish

    IsaCiccone,

Sorry for a late reply but your post just showed up on my browser today.

One of the most common causes of a summary line showing less than 100% complete when all subtasks are showing as 100% is because there is a milestone under the summary that is not marked as complete.

If you have no milestones under the summary, we need a screen shot showing the summary and its subtasks with the Duration and Actual Duration fields shown.

    Hi John,

Thanks for your help, but I don't have milestones in the project. Below has 4 summaries tasks that will help to see the error (just in some of them).
