Excel 3D Maps Function - Error in Norwegian data

Hi

I am trying to create a map based on official Norwegian location names. The table includes the data shown in the map, but the State/Province named Time is not included in the map - the correct location should be the white spot. Why is this location hidden by

the 3D map function? Time is also a function name, may this explain the error?

Best Regards

    Hi Jon,

Thanks for your patience in this thread, as you said, Time is misplaced in the map, but I can’t find Time in the map via Find Location on my side.

I’m so sorry for this inconvenience to your work, since it an online service, the location data is from Bing map, there may be some defects. To help improve the product, I recommend you send feedback to Office to let the related team to fix it.

Your understanding will be highly appreciated.

    Best Regards,

    Arck

    Hi Jon,

Thanks for posting in the community, since creating new maps or appending data to existing maps requires an online connection (to connect to the Bing Map service).

I’ve searched for Time in 3D Maps > Find Location, it showed that “No Results Found”:

Then I searched for Rogaland in wiki, in the list of cities I found Time aka Lye:

I searched for Lye in 3D Maps again, it turns out that this is exactly where it was blank on your side.

Since the data is from Bing Map, please try to change the value from “Time” to “Lye” and see if it can work.

Hope the above method can help you, please feel free to tell me the result.

    Best Regards,

    Arck
