    You will need to change the style that is applied to that text in the body of the document so that it is not in one of the styles that are used as the basis for the text to be included in the Table of Contents.

    Then you will need to update the table of contents, not just the page numbers in it.

    I am V. Arya, Independent Advisor, to work with you on this issue. Can you clarify more about this - Do you want to remove a particular line from TOC or complete TOC? If particular line, then you will need to remove Heading formatting from that entry in the text.
