Hello,

sorry in advance for my bad english but i'm italian

i have a problem with the import of my onenote2016 notebooks in a onenoteW10 . I tried to use the automatic discovery inside onenoteW10 but the app didn't discover any notebook then i tried the fantastic tool "OneNote Notebook Importer".

The tool import correctly the notebook, the section but the page and the note inside the page aren't visible.

the error when i go to see my imported notebooks are:

FROM BROWSER: C'è stato un problema durante il caricamento del contenuto (in italian - english trad: "there was a problem with the loading of the content")

FROM ONENOTE W10 APP: Non è possibile aprire la sezione (in italian - english trad: "Isn't possible to open the section")

From the onenoteW10 APP i have this error in all the sections imported by the OneNote Notebook Importer : Impossibile sincronizzare questa pagina. Per evitare perdite di dati, copiare le note in una nuova pagina e quindi eliminare la pagina corrente. (codice di errore: 0xE000145D c3exd) - english trad. "This page cannot be synchronized. To avoid data loss, copy the notes to a new page and then delete the current page. (error code: 0xE000145D c3exd)"

I MUST to import my old onenote2016 notebook in onenoteAPP because my onenote2016 (inside my Office 2016 correctly licensed in VL and up to date) crashed continuously after W10 1903 update. I have hundreds and hundreds of sections spared in dozens of notebooks.

I tried also to import a notebook with only one small section .... same problem

Please help me to troubleshooting these errors

Thanks in advance

If you can open your notebooks on OneNote 2016, you can try to create new notebook and copy one of your notebooks to the new notebook, then sync it and check it on OneNote.com to see if you'll have the same error.

Update us with the outcome so we can further assist you.

Hello, sorry for the time passed by but i was busy to try.

i tried just now and the problem still goes on.

    i will answer your question:

    • Are the notebooks from OneNote 2016 intact?

Yes, are intact, i'm using that Onenote2016 notebooks everyday without problem

    • Have you tried checking the notebooks in OneDrive? If you already did, are the sections of the notebooks in OneDrive complete?

Yes, the section are complete, but the error comes also when i try to import also a notebook with also only one note (also without sections)  .... the resul is ever the same: the note has imported but is blank

    • After importing the notebooks to OneNote for Windows 10, you had an 0xE000145D c3exd error message, have you tried addressing the error message? If you have not, you can check this link for instructions.

I tried to adress the error but no answer about it......

have you some ideas ti solve the problem?

    thanks
