OneNote - Full path text

When documenting with OneNote, we have a lot of folders.  If I want to email someone where a note is located, I would like to show the folder path so they know where to find it.

In Windows File Explorer, I can just click on the location bar for a nested folder and it will show the folder path.  I can just copy the highlighted text.  Then I can paste that text into an email.

But I don't know if or how to do this in OneNote.  If I hover over a tab, it shows me the full path, but I have no way of copying this text as there is no context menu when I hover, nor no option.

I know you could do a Copy Link to Section", but I don't want to do that.  And pasting as plain text for this link is very messy with spaces being "%20", etc.

Here is how it looks when pasting a link as plain text:

onenote:https://xxxx.sharepoint.com/sites/Support/SiteAssets/Support%20Notebook/Meetings/ABC%20XYZ/Vendors%20Meeting/2019.one#section-id={FD33F3CB-CB54-4A0A-8968-8DEFAD0D6360}&end

I would just like it to say:

Support Notebook/Meetings/ABC XYZ Vendors Meeting/2019

How can I do this?

I would still like to know a simple way to copy the folder structure for a OneNote page path, like you can in File Explorer.  Like in my example:

    C:\Users\userid\Corporate Name\Support - Documents\Meetings\ABC XYZ\Vendors Meeting\2019

    Hi PuzzledProgrammer,

We've noticed that this case has been inactive for quite some time. I would like to know if you're still experiencing the same issue. If so, I would like to confirm if you're subscribed to Office 365 for Business subscription.

    Thanks Bernd,

I see going to File Info shows the path to the Notepad, but it still includes those additional characters (%20).  Plus it doesn't capture the folders within the notebook to the document stored.

I did find a workaround.  We have created a duplicate folder structure in OneDrive where we store any documents that are related to the note.  If I open the OneDrive notebook folders, it works like File Explorer and provides a clean folder structure.  It looks like this:

    C:\Users\userid\Corporate Name\Support - Documents\Meetings\ABC XYZ\Vendors Meeting\2019

So I just copy this in from "Support - Documents" to the end and paste it in my email.

But I thought this could be done within OneNote itself.

Not what you want but in the direction ...:

File --> Info, then you see the path next to a notebook. Click, then copy.
