Hello,

We are running a live courses and majority of our Speakers uses PowerPoint from both Mac and PC platforms. One of the complains are the arrows that are misaligned when loading their PowerPoint to our Podium PC from their Home Mac laptop computer. Is there a way to resolve this annoyances?

See screenshot in red ink showing misalignment:

Is there a way I can get a free upgrade on my Mac Office 2011 to Office 2016 to be able to solve the line issues with the software? I am now in a position that each time I created my PowerPoint Presentation from Home wouldn't be able to match the podium computer version of Windows Office 2016 therefore will fail my PowerPoint Presentation by MS Office glitch.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the link.  I see the same problem when I open the presentation here (either one, in fact) in Windows PowerPoint.

There are a few subtle differences in the way Mac and Windows measure and display text; this seems to be a *very* odd instance of that.  I found that if I widen the text box very slightly by adjusting the middle handle on its right side, the arrow lines up to the correct spot.

For presentations that will go back and forth, Windows to Mac or vice versa, you may want to force the linebreaks rather than relying on PowerPoint to break the lines for you.

Shift + Enter will force a linebreak at the current cursor position.

Would it be possible to post a copy of this slide (and just this slide) on OneDrive, Dropbox or the like so we can download and test it?

If so, please add another slide and insert your screenshot into it as well, for reference.

    Thanks.
