Error when opening Word

I get this error every time I open and close Word.

I've tried removing all templates and reinstalled Office too with no success

Microsoft 365 and Office | Word | For home | Windows

You have an add-in that most likely needs to be updated. Do you use Adobe Acrobat or other software that adds functionality to Word?  If so, install updates for your add-ins.

If not, you can go to the Tools menu and choose Templates and Add-ins and deactivate any add-ins you have.

    I found it myself - I had a template with a Macro included, made for Windows..

    After deleting, everything is spinning again

    This would appear to be a Visual Basic runtime error where the system .DLL's supporting the Visual Basic overhead are not compatible (version-wise) with the module being run.

    Solution: upgrade your software, your VB runtime or both.

    If this doesn't resolve your issues, please reply with more details in order that we can provide some directed assistance. Some suggestions:

    The EXACT language of the error's dialog (including title bar).

    The program that caused it (knowing this may help)

    The operating system, anti-virus, other programs running

    Does it occur during either/or Safe Mode or Clean Boot?
