Shared link cannot be opened in OneDrive

Hello,

someone shared a file with me via my email adress. However, when I try to open it in OneDrive, a message shows saying: ‘Link can’t be opened in the OneDrive App. Would you like to open it in your browser?’. I can open it in my browser but I am using this document for a group project and would like to edit in in either Word or OneDrive.

Anyone know how to open the document in OneDrive instead of in my browser?

Ah well, ive never seen it other thatn company to company, fwiw the other reasons are supposedly

Someone sent you a link without giving you permission to open it.

You're clicking an older link that doesn't open in a mobile app.

but ive never had that issue, good luck:)

    Hi jmattmacd,

The document was shared by my colleague, so I don’t think that’s the problem. I’ve been trying to get the document copied and transfered to Word or OneDrive but unfortunately that didn’t work either.
