I have conditional formating rules in my document they were working but as of this week new entry are not recognising the rules

eg Check spell should show green across the row but only some are green and when I change the status to sold the whole row changes pink click again new status unavailable and it mostly goes yellow

What have I done wrong

    Hi Linda,

in your post, you mentioned “new entries are not recognizing the rules “, please select the cell where you expect the rule to work and then click Home tab on the ribbon, select Conditional Formatting> Manage Rules, check if there’s any rule applied.

If there’s formatting applied and you want to apply an existing formatting style to new or other data on your worksheet, you can use Format Painter to copy the conditional formatting to that data.

    1. Click the cell that has the conditional formatting that you want to copy.
    2. Click Home > Format Painter.
    3. To paste the conditional formatting, drag the paintbrush across the cells or ranges of cells you want to format.
    4. To stop using the paintbrush, press Esc.

For reference, see Copy and paste conditional formatting section from this article.

Let me know if this works.

    Regards,

    Neha
