    Hi Jessica,

There was a support spam post in this thread, please do not call the number they provided.

I just checked the same Excel version as you mentioned, but the data validation button is listed on my ribbon.

The first thing you need to check is whether you have disable the data validation button in the customize ribbon option. Please go to File > Options > Customize Ribbon, change to all commands, find Data Validation button and add it to the ribbon.

Or, if you haven't made any customization on your ribbon, you could just check the reset button to reset your ribbon to the default settings, see if that helps.

    Regards,

    Alex Chen

    Hi Alex,

I did review the Customize Ribbon and reset the Data Tools (including Data Validations).

Then, I was expecting to see the option displayed in Data Ribbon but it doesn’t, even do, I'm able to open the Data Validation option through the search option.

    Thank you!

    Jessica Franco.

    Hi Jessica,

Try using Online Repair to fix your Excel's components.

    Repair an Office application

Since resetting the customize ribbon didn't solve the issue, I assume this issue might be related with the corrupted Office components.

Please let us know if there are any updates.

    Regards,

    Alex Chen

    Hi Jessica,

Have you tried the Online Repair as I suggested?

    Did that fix the issue?
