Hi,

we have a macOS app, which add the add-ins into excel.

Currently we are storing Add-ins at location : "/Applications/Microsoft Excel.app/Contents/Resources/en.lproj/Add-Ins"

We are facing problem on excel upgrade, This add-ins file getting remove on every excel upgrade.

We are trying to change the location of Add-in to: "${HOME}/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content.localized/Add-Ins.localized/"

Removing Add-in from previous location.****

We are facing below problem:

Excel keeps add-in reference into "Add-ins Available" list even it got deleted.  We can't add add-ins from new location until this add-ins get uninstall properly. Only way I can see to uninstall is: Tools -> Excel Add-ins.. -> Select add-in -> It will show alert to remove add-in (As you can see in attached image) -> On click of YES, add-in gets removed. is there a way to do it automatically. We can't force every user to go through this manual remove process.

There is similar question here, but that also saying to do it manually: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mac/forum/macoffice2016-macexcel/permanently-remove-excel-add-in/71457699-c3ba-4a83-aeba-f3f856883357

In the Add-Ins available box, clear the check box next to the add-in that you want to remove, and then click OK.

That's not my question. I said, Is there any file which I can delete using some script or macro and that will completely uninstall the add-ins. I don't want to do it manually.
