Microsoft Forms: Adding date AND time question to survey?

Hello,

I'm trying to create a survey that logs "observations" done every time it's submitted.  I see a field for the user to enter a date, but I don't see a "time" field to accompany it.  Any suggestions to incorporate time besides being a free text field?  Time needed would be hour and minute (no seconds).  Appreciate any help!

    Hi Chris,

I'm sorry to inform you but this feature is not supported in MS forms. However, the function is available in MS forms Pro but there's an additional cost for it. You can see below link for further information about MS Forms Pro.

    Hope this helps.

Stay safe and Thank you :)

    Hi Jennifer,

Please see attached screenshot.  I can have a question for "date," however there is no "time" of the day function.  Only work around I could see is putting a drop down with the number of hours in the day in one hour blocks, but looking to have hours and minutes as an option.

    Thank you,

    Chris

    Hello Jennifer,

sorry I’m talking about in the survey itself in Forms, not in the data extract in excel.

    Hi Chris,

    Good day!

I see that you are using Ms Forms online.

Well, please try below formulas to remove seconds on date format.

    1. This may help: (assuming your date is in A1)

    =A1-SECOND(A1)

2.Or you may try thi =A1-TIME(0,0,SECOND(A1))

    Hope this helps you. :)
