Hello-

When running solver on the MAC, I cannot put ranges in the "changing variable cells" box.  Is this function available on the MAC as it is on the PC version.

Thanks for your help

    Hi J_440,

I have just tested the scenario you mentioned in this thread. But it turn out the solver add-ins is working perfectly on my side.

And I can put ranges in the "changing variable cells", as you can see in the following image:

The version I tested is Excel for Mac version 16.37, may I confirm which Excel version you are using?

About Office: What version of Office am I using?

Thanks for the reply.  My issue is if you want 2 or 3 separate series.  On the PC, you separate with a "," but I cannot get that to work on my mac (excel 16.37)

    Thanks for your help

    Hi Jonathan,

Like Dana has mentioned, for Excel for Mac, if you want to add multiple inconsistent series to the changing valuable cells. You will need to use Command key instead of manually input Comma. After selecting the range you want, press Command and move your cursor to select the other ranges.

Not sure why Dana delete the reply, but thanks for your input @Dana

thank you so much.  Unfortunately, the solver does not seem to be the same caliber as on the PC as it could not find a solution and when I run it on a PC, it finds a solution in no time.

    Appreciate the help

    Jonathan
