Change Encoding

Hello everyone,

I want to open a Microsoft word document with UTF-8 encoding. For that, I have checked the item "Confirm file format on open" in Options --> Advanced --> General. I expect then that a window pops up when I open the document to let me choose an encoding for that document. But such a window doesn't show up and the document opens as before!

Any tip for that?

    The option doesn't apply to file formats that are native to Word (*.doc, *.docx).
