Dear community,

for some type of data centering text does not seem to work. For example, the text in these cells is centered but in the formatting you can see that it is still right-aligned:

You can find the file here: https://tumde-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/g/personal/alexander\_farr\_tum\_de/EZGKB0Nj5dhCvXrVrmBtKFkBeiP9G5PmKCxpbESOXPmVPQ?e=LhWDeO

Is there a way how I can center-align?

Thank you in advance for your help!

It has to do with the Custom Number Format you've selected. The _ used as a prefix is forcing a space to be added on the left side and this shifts the 'centered' value to the right.

Review guidelines for customizing a number format

    Number format codes

If you want them truly centered, format them as a Number with 0 decimal places.

...The reason I ask is that I looked at your spreadsheet in the first instance and all cells were aligned centrally.

Would you please clarify the issue?

    Thanks.
