Hi,

I just started subscribing Microsoft 365 this month. After installing the software on my laptop, I notice this issue when scrolling up and down in excel and word. The scrolling leave traces that block some part of the screen.

Here's an example of what's going on excel when scrolling up and down performed. The trace is gone after scrolling up and down is repeated.

Is there any problem between the software with the GPU?

Here's my laptop specification:

Spec:

Windows 10 Home Single Edition (build 18363)

Proc: AMD Ryzen 5 3550H (8CPUs) ~ 2.1 GHz

RAM: 8192 MB

Display driver 1: AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics

Display driver 2: NVidia GeForce GTX 1050 3Gb

Please let me know how to fix this because it's quite problematic to me. Thank you

    Hi Fajar,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I am Thuy, an Independent Advisor and Microsoft just like you.

For this issue, it might be because video configuration on your computer that is incompatible with the Office feature set. I suggest that you do the following steps to disable hardware graphics acceleration in Excel and Word to see whether the issue is resolved.

    1. Go to File menu --> Options
    2. Choose Advanced tab.
    3. Tick option "Disable hardware graphics acceleration" under Display section.

It applies for both Excel and Word. You can refer to the link below for more information about video configuration incompatibility.

Hope this helps and let me know if you need more assistance.

    Regards.
