unable to store credentials using cmdkey

Question

I am using cmdkey as System user to add user crdentials into windows vault in my application.. It was working prevsiously but has stopped working now. The command itself i sgeteing executed but credentials are not getting saved. Is there a way to get an error code to troubleshoot? Any suggestions on what could be causing this issue?
