Go to PowerPivot > Add measure (or calculated field)
add measure missing from pivot table data model

I have several pivot tables that i created using the data model option so i could get distinct counts. when i try to add a calculated field, that option is not there in data model. when i try to add measure, it isn't on the menu. see below. i am running office pro plus 2013
