Problem when leaving Powerpoint presentation mode

Dear Microsoft community,

I experience the following problem (working with 365 on my Mac)...

My problem: When closing the presentation-mode for PPT, instead of going back to the file that I'm presenting, PPT pulls up one of the other PPT files that I have open.

My question: How can I stop this from happening (other than closing all other PPT files except the one that I'm presenting, which would be annoying)?

Many thanks in advance for your advice.

Frank

    Hi Frank,

As per your description, I have tested from my side I open three different PowerPoint presentation slide on mac OS and when I click one of them in presentation mode after that when I exit presentation mode and other two PowerPoint cannot pull up in my side.

Please try to opening PowerPoint for Mac in Safe Mode  to determine whether background programs are interfering with any 3^rd^ partiesfor Mac.
