The Name Manager is available only in the Excel releases for the Windows OS. It never has been provided in Excel for Mac despite pleas over the last decade or so.

Dear Microsoft.
I'm pretty baffled and frustrated.
Where can I find theName Manager feature in Excel for Mac. I'm trying to edit many range names in a file created in Excel for Windows. I normally use Excel for Windows in the Office, but am working from home with a MacBook Pro.
I can't find the feature in the ribbon, even though Excel Help for Mac mentions the feature and shows screenshots and videos. I'm using the latest Mac version of Excel for Microsoft 365. See screenshot of the Formula ribbon below.
The Name Manager feature is in my opinion a critically important feature that belongs in Excel for Mac. As a developer trying to debug and manage up to a hundred range names in large Excel workbooks that contain financial data along with complicated formulas. I don't have time to develop a VBA application to replicate the feature in Excel for Windows.
If the Name Manager does exist in Excel for Mac, please let me know where I can find it.
Otherwise, Excel for Mac is great.

Screenshot in Excel for Mac 16.36 (20041300), with the Name Manager missing? It's not under Define Name.
Screenshot in Excel 2010 for Windows (same in Excel 2013, 2016, 2019), showing the Name Manager.

Hi Bob.
Thank you for your reply and clarification.
I visited the Excel for Mac feedback site and voted. I hope one day Microsoft will implement this feature.

MS has "merged" the underlying base code that Office Mac applications are written with to the code used by Windows apps. That means going forward it will be simpler for MS to add those missing "Windows version only" features to the Mac version.
.
The question is when they will do it ...
The answer is, that is a total mystery...
