Hello Neeradhi! I'm Jen, an independent advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.

I tried creating the chart on my end using your data. i would like to know if this is the result you want to achieve? If yes, try to format your data series as shown in the screenshot I've attached below.

    I hope this information helps.

If you have any questions, please let me know and I'd be glad to assist you further.

    Thank you and Best Regards!

    Jen :)

    Hi Jen,

Thanks for your reply. But unfortunately, it did not solve my issue. Not sure why it is ignoring the selected data and just showing two columns.

    Please the screenshot below :

    Hi Neeradhi,

Thanks for getting back to me with an update.

Kindly check if you have the latest office version installed. To install the latest updates, open the Excel app > Go to File > Account > Under Product Information, click on "Update Options" > Select "Update Now".

If the problem still persists, I would suggest you to run a "Quick Repair" and see if it fixes the issue. To do this, follow the steps below:

    Open Microsoft Windows Settings.

Click Apps to open the Apps & features window.

Find and click your Microsoft application in the list.

Select Modify, then "Quick Repair", and follow the onscreen instructions.

Once the fix is applied, restart your computer.

If quick repair doesn't help, try the above method again with "Online Repair"

Then, re-try opening your excel workbook and create the graph again to check if the issue has been fixed.

Let me know if this works.

    Regards,

    Jen :)
