The iSpring add-in is specific about working with Office 365. It has a 14-day free trial (see link in previous post).

In general, Microsoft seems quite shy about including web pages because of the potential for malware. It took them years to recover after the introduction of Word macro viruses back in the 90s, so they are more risk-averse than many users.

Thanks, John! I was looking at Live Web but hesitated since IT may not allow the add-in on corporate laptops. The need is there for a few years if not longer, I'm wondering if there is some policy that prevents Microsoft from enhancing pptx to render html.

Give Shyam Pillai's free Live Web add-in a try: Live Web

iSpring makes a paid add-in that they say can include a web page on a PowerPoint slide. They have a free 14-day trial, but I haven't tried it.

Thanks, Aster! That's what I want to confirm. It seems like the 3rd party plug-in is the only solution.

    Hi BYXL,

I am Aster, an Independent Advisor and I'm here to help you with your problem.

Unfortunately, PowerPoint will not able to render HTML content as it does not work the same way as a web browser does.

    Hope this clarifies, thank. you.
