Switch Action in Power Automate

Hi, I have a scenario that need to send email if specific list selection has been chosen.

1- I have a SharePoint List with specific Drop-down Choice column that I need to email specific users depending on the selection.

For example if the user choose Option 1 in the specified column, the email will sent to user 1, if option 2 has been selected, then User 2 will get the email.

2- now I did a flow as below with Switch condition

all the flow action are pass, but I keep getting the message below for the switch cases (I did OneDrive also for test, but it keep saying "skipped"), so it might I put something wrong in (Equals)? Option 1 is one of the list column choice selection.

What did I miss here?, Thanks for your help.

    Dear Ihab,

    Sorry for the delayed reply.

After multiple tests, I think that the reason may be that the email action can't get the email addresses of the values you select from the Choice column as the Choice column isn't a people picker column.

You may need to add the Search for users (V2) action to get the email addresses from the choice values to generate the email action.

I don't use the Switch action in the flow. I use the Condition action in the following flow for your reference.

    Best Regards,

    Cliff

    Dear Ihab,

Thanks for posting the thread on our forum.

Could you upload some screenshots showing the list in SharePoint Online so that we can check the flow in the screenshots you provided above to do a test in our environment to see the result?

Note: Remove any private information before uploading the screenshots.

    Best Regards,

    Cliff

    Hi Cliff,

Thank you for the response, I attached the agency Column setting in the list, so there is multi options for the user to choose from the drop-down agency, if option 1 has been selected, then the flow will sent email to agency 1, if option 4 has been selected, then the flow will sent email to agency 4, .. etc.

    Thanks.
