We have an Excel file, that stores in OneDrive. This file should be protected by password with encryption. Can we work with such file via GraphAPI?

I am trying to have a Azure web app use Graph to add a row to a table on an protected Excel worksheet that is set for sharing with the permission "add rows" being ticked as allowed. The Azure account that created the app is the same account as the Microsoft (Office) 365 Business Basic (the currently $6/mo one) account holder that owns the Excel sheet, but with sharing turned on, the azure app gets 403 forbidden when trying to add a row to the Excel worksheet Table. With workshet protection turned off, the row adds just fine via Graph from an Azure web app. Everything is set up right for allowing the Azure app to insert a row to the Excel worksheet/table and that works correctly until I turn on worksheet protection and enable sharing in Excel with "add rows" enabled and then it stops working despite the azure app and the excel sheet both having the same owner. Due to the owner of the Azure app being the owner of the Excel worksheet, sharing should have zero effect on the Azure app access which, agian, works fine and allows rows to be inserted until Excel worksheet protection comes into play even when "add rows" is set as allowed. When I worksheet-protect and then share Excel, even sharing it explicitly with the azure app owner which is also the excel sheet owner having permission to add rows, the result of azure/graph inserting an Excel row is always 403 denied. When I protect and share and specify the azure app user email address as the "person" with whom I am sharing, the result is "Anyone with the link can share" but the link isn't the Sharepoint site/drive/item type of link. I wonder if the Azure app could use the share link to add rows via MS Graph? I doubt it bc Graph URLs start with a host indicating graph, whereas the Excel share link does not indicate Graph. I don't care about passwords or encryption. Just wanna insert a row from Azure App with sharing turned on, but the sharing is for humans to pull up the Excel workbook. The app where Azure/Graph adds rows needs to be protected from the humans because if they can change it, they will break it.

Hello @Semenov, Anton Thank you for reaching out. To my knowledge, there isn't currently a way to do this, would you consider filing a feature request on our Developer Platform so we can look into this?
