is there a way you can have a comment and a note added to the same cell in excel. I would like to be able to add a comment to cell 3c and also add a note to cell 3c as well. i have tried doing the right click  and i can do either, not both. is there a way to do both??

Hi I'm Michael, an Independent Advisor and I'm here to help you. I'm afraid that if you put both comment and a note in a single cell you defeat the purpose of each function. As you can see there is a difference between a comment and a note

Hi, I really apologize but it doesn't work both ways. However, You can make a thread comment instead. Thanks! :)

Hi yes, I have tried that but I can only do either a note or a comment, but not both. I would like to put a note in cell 3c and then also have running comments on the same cell 3c. Is this possible?
