Adalcache

I started getting the following message a day or so ago, "OneDrive wants to use your confidential information stored in “adalcache” in your keychain.

To allow this, enter the “login” keychain password."

It doesn't look right to me so I have been clicking Deny. Is it safe to click Allow and what am I allowing?

I have a Mac Mini, earlier than 2018.

This is helpful Alex, but doesn't really address the original question specifically for 'adalcache'

"Is it safe to click Allow and what am I allowing?"

Oh it's OK... I just did another search and found this:
