Hide values from slicer in excel

I have a pivot table based on a table that's data is linked to other worksheets.  In other words, the table is all linking formulas.

Since there is not "true" data in all of the rows on the table (just formulas), my pivot table has a row with nothing in it.

Also, the slicers I have added for this pivot table either show a blank space, or 0 as an option.  Is there any way I can eliminate these?

I've included a snapshot highlighting these unwanted fields in yellow.

Thank you in advance for any help.

    Hi SUZZI-HFO,

Thanks for reaching out. My name is Ali. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

Have you tried to filter out the blanks from your pivot table first column and Right click on the slicer and then navigate to "Slicer Settings". Then check the box that says "Hide items with no data".

Please reply back to us if this solved your problem or ask if you are still facing any problem.

    Thanks,
    Ali
