Billing error

Unable to renew subscription. I'm trying to pay for another year of Microsoft office. My subscription runs out this month. I would like to change to a monthly subscription this time, but it will not accept payment from me, and as I press to go to Paypal, Microsoft calls error and returns me to the accounts page. Then refuses to accept another attempt to pay. This happens for monthly and yearly.

Why is this happening? I'm paying from Britian and the account asks for USD, does that make any difference? Surely, Paypal sorts the difference automatically.

What do I do? I will have to switch to a different provider if I cannot pay for this one.

Thank you.

Thank you for your answer. Yes, my MS account. I couldn't find the appropriate option. I am logged in from UK, but the amount is quoted in USD. Do you think that might be the problem? I have no idea why it thinks I'm in the US. Do you know how I can correct that assumption?

    Hi Katrina,

Before contacting MS support, you may check the link below and see if it helps.
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/402659...

You can only use PayPal accounts that have a credit card or confirmed bank account as a funding source. To use PayPal with your Microsoft account, make sure your PayPal account uses an accepted funding source.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Regards,
    John

You have posted to an Office 2019 group which is not a subscription product

Are you logging on to your MS Account https://office.com/myaccount

If so and you originally installed in the UK there should be no mention of USD
