You should find Object in the Text group on the Insert tab:

For some reason Object was not on my ribbon.  I installed it, with MS Office support agent.  Once Objet was installed combining files was not an issue.  Thanks

    Hi NipendraSingh,

Glad to hear that the problem is fixed at the end. It sounds like the “Object” option is removed from your Word ribbon for some reasons. If you would like to add certain tab back to your ribbon, you can always go to File >Option >Under Customize Ribbon to find them and add.

    For your information:

    Customize the ribbon in Word

    Best regards,

    Dihao
