Access 2016 not enough memory error

When i try and run an operation in an MS Access database i get the error:

"The Linkmasterfields propery settings has produced this error: 'There isn't enough memory to complete the automation object operation on the | object'".

If i run access as administrator i don't get this error but i can't figure out why. Is there a way to fix this error when running the program not as administrator or is there a way for me to make access run as administrator by default?

    Hmm, rather important additional info.

Use File > Account on your machine and others to check if the version and build number is truly the same.

It has Windows 10 home 64 bit on the laptop with 8GB of RAM. I've looked in task manager when this error comes up and it still has plenty of RAM free. Also doesn't make sense to me if it was truly running out of memory why would it not give the error when running as administrator.

"Every other computer using this database doesn't have the same problem."

So this is not a problem with MS Access per se. It appears to be related to limited resources available on that one laptop.

What can you tell us about that laptop? Operating System? Installed RAM? etc.

Another thing to mention is this only happens on one laptop. Every other computer using this database doesn't have the same problem.

Yes on the latter, but it is MUCH better to understand and fix the error. We need some information:

Design the form. Select the subform object. In the Properties form, Data tab, what does it say for LinkMasterFields and LinkChildFields?

Design the tables these fields refer to. What are the data types of those fields? List everything here for us to take a look at.
