Planner Error using a Plan Link

Hello,

I received the error message below from a link to a plan created in planner by a colleague:

You do not have access to the requested entity.

Correlation Id: 0*****f8-6**f-454e-99a1-0b2*******5f

I was accessing office 365 using Chrome.

Other colleagues have been able to open the plan.  Any suggestions on how this may be corrected?

Thank you

Ron

    Thank you Madoc,

I have tried the troubleshoot options but so far they made made no difference.

Below is a the message.  Other plans can be opened normally.

    Best regards

    Ron

    Hi Maximilian,

Sorry for the inconvenience it causes.

As the problem mostly occurs in a specific tenant, something needs to be checked by the back-end support engineers. It is suggested to Contact support for business products. Our support engineers would conduct in-depth research on the problem you met and can provide you with more professional help.

    Best regards,

    Madoc

I have the same issue. Just created a private office 365 group and when I tried to go to the planner website from the outlook group management, this error keeps popping up on loading planner:

I'm also a senior admin, I have all office rights in my organization.

    Oops, something went wrong...

    Hi Ron,

I would like to help you, but since we can’t reproduce the same issue which means the issue mostly happens only to the specific tenant, something needed to be checked from the backend. However, our community support team has limited resources, I’d like you to escalate this issue to the related product team. In this kind of scenario, create a support ticket in the Office 365 Admin Centervia Global Admin, the support engineers there have the correct escalation channel and this is the most efficient way to report such a back end issue for Office 365 Online Services.

In addition, we made a summary with you in PM, you can kindly share it with the support team.

    Thanks for your comprehension.

    Best regards,

    Madoc

    Hi Ron,

Sorry for the inconvenience it may have caused you.

To troubleshoot the issue, there’re some suggestions you can try:

    1. Reset IE settings because IE settings will affect all browsers.
    2. Switch to another browser or open it in an in-private window to check the result,
    3. Make sure there’s a good network environment, disable VPNs and proxies if any is enabled.

If the issue persists, we’d like to collect some information to further check it:

    1. Can other plans in Planner be opened normally from your side?
    2. Regarding the error window, can you take a screenshot of it and share it with us?

    Best regards,

    Madoc
